Challenge

Viles & Beckman handles highly sensitive client information, including protected health information, financial details, insurance correspondence, and attorney work product. As the firm grows and prepares to open a second location, it needs a technology strategy that stays ahead of evolving cybersecurity threats, supports expansion, and helps leadership evaluate emerging technologies like AI.

Results

Through an ongoing strategic partnership with Entech, Viles & Beckman takes a proactive approach to technology and cybersecurity. Quarterly planning, continuous security initiatives, technology vetting, and 24/7 support give leadership confidence that technology can keep pace with the firm's growth—without requiring their team to become technology experts.

We are opening a second office in September, and the technology side of it is not what keeps me up. That is not optimism. That is what a long relationship buys you. Entech also showed up for our Foundation this year, which tells you what kind of partner they are when nothing is being billed.

About your Customer

Viles & Beckman Injury Attorneys is a personal injury law firm founded in 2005 and headquartered in Fort Myers, Florida. Known as The 5-Star Law Firm®, the firm represents people injured in car and truck collisions, pedestrian and bicycle crashes, premises liability incidents, and toxic exposure matters. Its practice is built on trial-ready preparation and jury-tested strategy rather than volume settlement.

The firm employs six attorneys and 34 staff and is expanding to Florida's east coast with a second office in Deerfield Beach. Alongside its casework, Viles & Beckman operates the Viles & Beckman Foundation, which supports the community through initiatives including its annual Back2School Backpack Giveaway and the Marcus W. Viles Community Growth Scholarship.

The Challenge

For Viles & Beckman, protecting client information is part of protecting the client.

Every active case can contain sensitive information, including medical records and treatment history, financial details, insurance correspondence, and attorney work product. As cybercriminals increasingly target law firms for the valuable information they hold, protecting that data requires an ongoing, proactive approach.

At the same time, Viles & Beckman is growing. The firm is adding attorneys and staff, preparing to open a second location, and evaluating new technologies—including AI tools that may introduce new questions around how client information is accessed, processed, and protected.

Leadership needed more than traditional IT support. They needed a technology partner that could anticipate security needs, plan alongside the business, and provide experienced guidance as new technology emerges.

The Solution

Entech works alongside Viles & Beckman's leadership as an ongoing technology and cybersecurity partner, helping the firm stay ahead of both risk and growth.

Through quarterly strategy conversations, Entech aligns the firm's technology roadmap with hiring, caseload, and expansion plans. Security initiatives and assessments are addressed proactively throughout the year, rather than waiting for an issue to arise.

As Viles & Beckman evaluates new technology, Entech also helps leadership assess potential security and data-handling implications—including questions surrounding emerging AI tools and access to sensitive client information.

Combined with 24/7 support and monitoring, this approach gives the firm a technology strategy designed to evolve alongside the business.

"The technology side of it is not what keeps me up. "

That confidence is especially important as Viles & Beckman prepares to open its Deerfield Beach office. Every attorney and staff member at the new location will need the same secure access and technology capabilities as the Fort Myers team from day one.

After years of planning together, technology is one part of the expansion leadership doesn't have to treat as an open question.

The Results

For Viles & Beckman, the value of the partnership is not defined by a single technology project. It's the confidence that technology, security, and strategic planning are keeping pace with the direction of the firm.

As the firm expands, leadership can focus on serving clients, growing its team, and entering a new market knowing that technology planning is already part of the conversation.

The partnership also extends beyond technology. In 2026, Entech supported the Viles & Beckman Foundation's Back2School Backpack Giveaway, helping provide 506 backpacks filled with school supplies to students across Southwest Florida.

It's a relationship built not only around supporting the firm's technology, but around showing up for what matters to its people and its community.
