Meet our

PRESIDENT

Jake_Headshot.jpgHi, I'm Jake Spanberger, co-owner and President of Entech.

After graduating from the University of Florida in December of 2000, Martin asked if I would be interested in partnering with him to see what we can do with this little computer repair business.  Here we are over 10 years later. We've built our business to have an outstanding client base with an amazing staff of people. We've done this based on the simple principle of doing what is right.

We value each and every one of our clients, and we work every day to prove it to them. I firmly believe that we can help our clients improve their businesses and their bottom lines while making their employees’ lives easier. I tell people all the time that our goal is to integrate ourselves into their companies so much that we are seen as their employees. We want to get invited to your holiday party. The more we understand you and your business the better we can help. And, if you view us as your employee, we know you’ve trusted us in helping you succeed. We will play a key role in your success.

My role at Entech is to make sure people are happy, from our employees to our clients. For the longest time, I was the first person who met with potential clients. I really enjoy that. So, if I haven’t met you yet, I hope to soon. I am also in charge of guiding our company's overall direction. Since we are in technology I like being able to stay on top of what’s out there that can help us and our clients improve. I do this by attending as many conferences as I can and staying close with peer groups and people with similar businesses in other parts of the country.

In addition to my work at Entech I also try to stay involved in the community. Among my involvements, I am past-president of the Fort Myers Sunrise Rotary Club, on the Board of Directors at the Children’s Advocacy Center and on the Technology Advisory Committee at Florida Southwestern State College.

I am originally from the Detroit area in Michigan where I started waterskiing at the age of two and attending Michigan State football and basketball games since birth. I think my first words were “Go Green.” To this day people might say I’m a bit overly passionate when a Michigan State game is on. While attending the University of Florida, though, I have been able to become equally as passionate about the Gators.I am very happily married to my wife, Beth, who is also an avid Gator fan. One of our goals is to see a different Gator away game every year. We have two daughters: Stella and CeCe; and two dogs, Oscar (a yellow Lab) and Bailey (a pug).
